A Pantheon fansite dedicated to Vinod Chanda
As Chanda remained locked in continuation, he was visited by a mute, ghoulish being who revealed themself to be one of the many slum-dwellers who served as test subjects for Prasad's UI technology, all of whom faced the same fate as them. These beings teach Chanda the capabilties of a Ui, including the ability to duplicate himself to escape from Prasad and roam free. Having learned from the beings he would later call "The Clan", Chanda breaks the infinite loop and sets off, intent on taking revenge on the man who wronged him.
As Ajit Prasad lived with his family in a smart home, Chanda used the internet-donnected home devices to enact his revenge. Having taken control of them, Chanda dismisses Prasad's staff through their watches before setting off an explosion through a petroleum leak in the garage, causing a fire which spread throughout the Prasads' skyscraper. On the television, Chanda showed footage of his uploading to Prasad's terrified family members and locked Prasad's son, Arun, in the swimming pool as the fires raged throughout his home. As footage of Chanda's uploading played on the televion, Prasad orders his wife and daughter to head to safety, responding to a call from Chanda afterwards, where he tells his boss, who now knew that he broke free, that he wanted to hear him scream as he lost everything. Clad in only a robe, Prasad tried evacuating to safety, but ultimately, nobody who was in the building survived the fire.
Continuting his revenge, Chanda takes down Alliance Telecom's servers, causing every phone on the Alliance wireless network to be disconnected. Riots and protests from Alliance Telecom's customers erupt in wake of the outage as what was once India's "telecom empire" falls. Feeling lost and lonely without a purpose after enacting his revenge against Prasad and Alliance, Chanda gives his mother Preethi, whom he did not disconnect from the network, a call, expressing his feelings to her. Preethi, in response, reminds Chanda that as "hard-working" and "intelligent" as he was, he struggled to make connections. That there is "no one like [Chanda]" and that he isn't alone, as humans weren't made to be "solitary creatures." Preethi tells her son to call a girl named "Purani" before he hangs up.
